As the EuroHockey Indoor Junior Championship, Men - Lisbon 2017 approaches, it is time to get to know the main characters of the event taking place between 13th to 15th January.
 
Tomáš Holek, one of the EuroHockey Lisbon 2017 National Umpires, kindly shared his thoughts about the incoming tournament, as well as his opinion about the hosting country, Portugal.


As one of the EuroHockey Lisbon 2017 National Umpires, what do you expect of this tournament?
I expect it will be a very high level tournament because of the teams, organization and my colleagues. I think no team is dubbed in the role of favourite, so the tournament can go either way. I hope for a tournament of this quality to have be many spectators. I will surely enjoy the atmosphere of the matches.
 
Have you ever visited Portugal or Lisbon?
No never, it will be my first time
 
What are you hoping to find?
I hope I will find a beautiful city, kind people and some new friends.
