The first time they went to the Croatian area, the French conquered a penalty corner but they missed it. The second time gave a second penalty corner and a new miss,and so on with the third and the fourth. The French played under an unexpected anguish and the Croatians deserved their 23 minutes of fame, with luck too (theFrenchmen missed another penalty corner). The blues from France were unrecognizable.

On second half the French increased the speed, the ball possession, the skills, thecontest levels was enlarged.  And finally they scored the first (23m). The Croatians did not abandon the fight but two minutes later the blues scored the second and lost a tremendous opportunity for the third: they missed. With 8 minutes to play, the Croatians missed a penalty corner that could give them the 2-1. The match ended with no more exchanges on the score. France is champion. Salut les Français!
